Why can’t a girl be your role model? How are you unable to see her as your idol, when we have to see beyond every state minister’s gender (male) and still believe that we can make it? We need to look at Zlatan, cause no woman could ever succeed as he has done, because female footballers are not valued as high and they therefore don’t make even half as much. How are you unable to see her as your idol, when that is all we see every day. We are forced to see beyond gender everyday, but you can not do it even once? We are made to believe that we can not succeed, we are never good enough, we should not be confident, and so on. We are portrayed as sensitive, weak, shy, sexy, innocent, passive and pretty. And you are saying that you can not see a girl as a role model because you can not relate? We dont even have to relate to you we need to make ourselves smaller for you, so that you can take up our space too. You can not even see a girl as your friend, she will ruin your reputation just simply by being a girl. You can not even see a girl as a human, because society has labeled her a girl. If she is ugly you won’t harrass her, but you will treat her as if she is nothing and never listen to her ideas. If she is beautiful you will let her hang with you, but you will touch her body without permission, talk about her body as an object and only value her because of her looks. Are you so afraid to be treated like a girl yourself, that you feel the need to push her down so no one will be able to do the same to you? Do you know that it is called bullying? Its not justified or okay to doing anything remotely negative because "she is a girl". If you don’t want to hang out with a girl because she is a girl, you need to ask yourself some questions. Why am I thinking like this? What negative versus positive consequenses could flourish from this encounter? Why am I scared of any of the outcome? And lastly, do you think that it is worse for you, who can choose to be viewed as a cool man or a less cool man regarding if you hang out with women, or for the women that are the ones that bring down mens reputation because they were born a woman, not because of anything they have done or accomplished ever. We can never choose not to be women, femininity is viewed so negatively, and even if you are non binary or trans you are still not the insider group - MAN. It’s like highschool logics. Or more grade school.. The world is just one big gradeschool. But I believe that we can change it! We will make it.
